I'm off to llandrindod wells next week and seeing as the weather looks good I've been given permission from the boss to take my bike.
My question is has anyone cycled around here that can recommend any rides? I'll probably have time to do a 30-40 miler a day so any help would be brilliant.

Hi
I did sportive around there a few yrs running, called Autumn epic. Elan valley was very nice with lovely climb up to reservoirs. It has its route on cyclesport website. " serious climbs in it one of which in the three times i did it i had to get off three times and walk!

there is a great ride over to tregaron, and back via the reservoirs, red kite country and this time of year super quite on the roads0
