Hey all,

I have a Carbon Cube Sting and was looking at running a 2x9 setup. However the sting doesn’t have ISCG mounts so I wanted to know if I could still run a chain guide / tensioner?

Also on a side note if I can, what would you recommend as a light weight chain guide / tensioner?

Thanks in advance

The rear mech is your tensioner, the blackspire stinger is a well respected lower chain guide and can be BB mounted.

I've just fitted a MRP 2x to my Stumpy. Not cheap, but a very good bit of kit. Havent had it out in anger yet though.

Had a Bionicon c.guide (v2) before that and that worked well too, although it had a habit of collecting mud.

I'm not aware of any that fit a pressfit frame unless it has iscg tabs......

    From experience, I'd say no.

Nick, it's usually a Shimano BB-91/41A on carbon Cubes

I'm not sure what the width is.

I think it might be a FSA one.

Im running Raceface cranks which run through my BB if that helps
