Just bought a 2nd hand bike and I noticed that the rear tyre (nobby Nic) has been put on the wrong way ie rotation arrow pointing in the direction opposite to rotation. Bike appears to handle OK but I'm guessing I should take it off and turn it round the right way?

Probably, that's the only way you'll know if it works better.

Yep, sometimes you can run tyres on the front the wrong way round for more grip, but I'd follow the arrows for the rear.

Thanks for the responses guys. Changed it round and took it out for a spin. Didn't feel like a massive difference to be honest, may be a little grippier and rolling a little faster. Anyway, at least now I wont have to wonder what the difference would be.
