Any Google Chrome experts about?

I like Chrome as a browser but I'm having problems with my home page. I've set it to http://www.Google.co.uk (you'd think Google would like this) but it never loads when I open Chrome. It displays a blank page with the correct address in the address bar but the little 'working' wheel on the tab it just spins. Out of curiosity I left it for an entire day and it didn't load. If I hit the Home button it loads instantly, as it does if I open a new tab.

It's not a major problem, I'm just annoyed I can't fix it. Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Rob

Spanner icon (top right) > Settings > On startup > Open a specific page or set of pages.

Hmm. That's how I've always had it set up. I'll try a different page. Maybe the fact I sign in to Google automatically is throwing it out.

Worth clicking "Set Page" next to that button and (double) checking google is registered there.

Maybe I'm missing something but why do you want Google as your home page in Chrome?

If it's for searching you can search straight from the address bar. If it's not just ignore me! ;)

Well, you learn something new everyday. To be honest, Google has been my default home page for years. I set it out of habit.

I'll give that a go as well. I don't want to be beaten by it!

    Cheers all.
