Ive got a Boardman Team CX bike. I want another set of wheels to use on the road, something lighter/faster & that can run 23mm tyres. But they need to be able to run Disc brakes. Any suggestions please?

There's not much choice for road disc wheels yet. You'd be better approaching a local bike shop to build you a set. Hand builts can get down to around 1600g a set if done well.

Not for disc brakes... or at least I wouldn't want to ride that wheel set... you do need 32 spokes front and rear... 1700 is achievable keeping it safe, less than that and you are looking for trouble

choose two out of the three attributes from your title (light, performance and strong).
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
