Mudguards

Looking at getting some mudguards to fit my 2010 Spesh Allez. As i'm sick of getting a wet rear, with all the showers we keep getting.
The 2 i'm most interested in are either the Crud Road Racers or the SKS race blades.
I expect that once they are fitted they will be left on pretty much permanently, except for maintenance etc.
Any advice/comments greatly appreciated.
