Just back from Rivington. First time there, I can see there's a lot of exploring to be done round that area. Wanted to trek up to Healey Nab but the weather was a bit miserable and basically, I couldn't be @rsed. Next time!
Anyway, just wanted to say to the two dudes on the Ice Cream run (I think one of them was Nigel Page) that I made it down without dying despite having a slippy Racing Ralph out back and being generally incompetent. :? Amazing how easy it looks when decent riders on decent bikes go past

Started out on the rough stuff, but after squirming around for a while I shifted over onto the left hand side. Will defo get up there again, on a nicer day I'll put some more effort in!0

was up rivington at weekend, went down a great section from the station the top down onto bellmont road and over moors downhill towards Anglezark resi. Looking at combining rivi, Wheelton plantation, and Healey nab in one on my next ride.0
