abergavenny to merthyr tydfil track?

Hi does anybody know about a new cycle track between abergavenny to merthyr tydfil?
I was in a shop in the brecons the other day and a guy was telling me about it, but I can't find any info about it online.
He used Phrases such as "bridges over roads" & "fly along to Merthyr"

Any links to maps would be great.
Planning a little bikepack Bristol to Brecon via the gap road. Then Taff trail down to Cardiff

    Abergavenny to Merthyr there is a good cycle track to Brynmawr bridges over the road etc not sure where it goes from there try the sustrans site its one of thiers. Alternativley if you go Abergavenny to Talybont on Usk along the canal you will pickup the taff trail there, or you can take canal all the way to brecon, the b roads from Abergavenny via Talybont on usk to Brecon are great cycling routes. hope this helps Andy
