    Nice pics Frenchie.

Am finally getting excited about the Tour now.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

Everyone has the Skoda Tour app on their phones, right?

If not, you should get it.

    Do.

Sent the girlfriend over the edge when, just before going to bed, I downloaded it and started getting over-excited about the whole thing.

Not many hours left now... Too much tennis, not enough cycling, these past few days!

Where do I get this from? As far as I can see it's only available to Australians.

Is this like last year's one, that continually crashed and seldom updated. It looked very pretty until the race started and then the back-end servers got busy and the thing was useless.

How did you both get this app, we go to the app store and it says "this is not available in your country" and there is no download button.

Lots of criticism of the parcours, but the Croix de Fer and Tourmalet stages are very well designed when you look at them closely. Partic the alpine one - no flat and the last climb is relatively easy.

Stage 8 looks good too, but more likely to come down to the final climb.

The old template of making them finish on an iconic mountain needs to be broken I think.
