When in a low gear the chain seems to be catching the front derailleur guide. Anyone any idea's what this could be/a quick fix? Thanks

If it used to work OK, and you haven't fiddled with anything, it coiuld be
that instead of resting on the screw that restricts the inward movement, the mech was 'held' by cable tension, and the cable has stretched, allowing the mech to move inwards.

If so, use the cable adjuster on the frame to tighten the cable. Do this when the cable is slack, eg chain on big ring, but shifter on small, and re test.

It nothing speific to campag veloce. You ust need to setup your front mech.

Remove cable and set limit screws so there is no rub then anhor the cable so it is taught and ride.

+1 - Follow the campag instructions to the letter. It's very specific. Start with the alignment of the mech to the frame as it might have slipped. You can download them from their website.
