Had a bonk last night!

Didn't 'physically' go out on a bike yesterday, but my mind was out for a ride.

Ate 'breakfast' at 11pm as usual, went to bed.

2.30am - bonk.

Woke up in pool of sweat, confused, disorientated, was as if I had just done a PB up my "favourite' hill!

Expected a low blood glucose reading of about 50, (under 70 being a hypo) it was 216!

All my blood glucose had been used up, gone into muscles and filled up my glycogen store, my liver then dumped 90 minutes worth of high energy cycling fuel into my system, ready for the next 45k!

I think cycling is taking over!

Anyone else been 'night cycling'? :D
my isetta is a 300cc bike

    I had a bonk the other day after a TT, I did a 23:53, I was so pissed off because it's a crap time for me, and on the way home I have never found it so hard to maintain 15mph, I could have sworn someone swapped my TT bike for a MTB with flat tyres.
