Road shoes for wide feet

Have been riding for a year with MTB shoes and SPD's. Going to upgrade to proper Road shoes, so looking for some recommendations for people with wider feet. Any advice appreciated.

    IME Northwave and Specialized (NW being wider though). Also see this thread:

    Specialized have done the trick for me. Narrow heel and wide foot comfortably accommodated. Recently upgraded to the S-Works and it fits like a glove, but some good deals going on their Expert road shoe.
