Large Lady struggling to find clothing!

Hello All
I've trawled the internet, cycle shops in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and still I struggle to find cycle clothes (bib short especially) and have to make do with mens XXlarge. I'm very disappointed to see that everywhere only caters for men with the odd few ladies all at size 8/10. We are not all skinny bikers. I cycle 100 miles a week and train at the gym so I'm not sat on the sofa stuffing my face with cream cakes (like some of the looks I get from men when I ask for large ladies clothing). I see many fat men in lycra cycling they seem to be catered for So come on and start catering for us ladies and not judge us because we are slinky women!
Don't blame manufaturing!
Things are get desperate that I'm even thinking of creating my own range! :evil:

Have you thought about emailing someone like Lusso to see if they will make you some.
They manufacture in Manchester I believe.

Only size 8/10? Are you sure about that? A very quick browse of a couple of the big retailers and there looks to be plenty available in sizes up to 16 or 18. Size 18 is pretty big isn't it?More problems but still living....0

I think part of the problem with cycling clothes is they expect any women doing sports to be flat chested! To find jerseys to fit you need to go up bigger sizes and then they don't fit the waist properly.
Size 18 is quite big but for cycling wear a size 18 usually equates to a smaller clothes size than normal clothes in a size 18. Also seems that if you go up bigger sizes you end up with really long arms or legs.
I have found altura padded shorts to be good sizes.0 -
I was quite depressed to find that my not excessively-sized a#se is still an XL in Altura terms.

Have you looked at websites such as cycle clothing.co.uk? They tend to go up to 3xl which apparently equates to size 20.

they used to offer custom kit ie different colours, and I suppose sizing, but as I say, I don't think they do anymore.0
