Hi everyone,

Now the weather is nicer I'm riding to work a lot more now. The only problem I'm having is no matter what I wear, my bag is making my back sweat. Is there a bag out there that has some sort of design feature to help with this?
The bag I use at the minute is a Berghaus twentyfour seven 25L.

I need something around the same size as this as I need to carry my lunch, drink and my work clothes. My bike has no mounts for racks or panniers.

I can recommend Deuter Race, all round top quality and you get a waterproof cover that stows away in a pocket.
    Capacity maybe an issue though.

    Deuter.

Get a smaller one, 15l, carry less, sweat less.

If you really need 25l get a rack/pannier.

What about one of the larger camelbaks? They go up to 20 litres and you can always take the bladder out when not using it.

I can't fit a rack or pannier to my bike.

If you look at the questions asked they say they shouldn't be used on carbon frames.

It wouldn't look right anyway

I have an Osprey Manta 30 and it simply awesome. Mainly used for MTB duties, its comfortable superbly thought out - there are pockets for everything... Even tho its 30L it compresses down to next nothing, it is a great versatile pack.
Osprey customer service is also the best in the business...

Deuter Speedlite 15L, I get my breakfast (small bag of porridge), milk, lunch (sandwich, yoghurt etc), change of underwear, shirt, arm/legwarmers, rainjacket (Altura Pocket Rocket), phone, keys, wallet, minipump and could still squeeze other bits and bobs in. Great lightweight bag, hardly notice it. I do believe Wiggle had these on sale recently!!

Edit to say my 'shirt' is a T Shirt that does get crumpled, but its an undershirt/baselayer I wear under my uniform.

i've got this and it gets me too and from work good as gold and for the price its been excellent. I'll admit its not the snazziest of rucksacks and might not be quite as high quality but it does the job!

Ospreys have a good rep but if it's sweaty backs you don't want then have a look at the Wingnut bags. A lot of mtbers rate them.

I haven't used any of the other brands so can't comment on those, but the escapist is great. Definitely worth the investment I think. And the back has that airscape technology stuff, which is basically like a hard feeling polystyrene-ish back type thing, and the straps feel the same, and theyre a lot better than having contact with the normal mesh that comes with the cheaper packs.
