Its about time I got a new lid,

Budget is a bit tight, around the £50 mark, and I cant really stretch much further than that,

Been looking at

Giro Monza

Met Fortissimo
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/met-fortissimo- ... lmet-2011/

Or should I be looking at something else?

I currently mainly commute RT of 30 miles and the occasional longer weekend ride so not looking at anything more expensive.

Thoughts?

I have own a MET and A giro and found the MET to be narrower and the Giro to fit better if you have a roundy-lump (technical term) on the back of your head, so I guess your decision will be down to fit. Don't know if you live somewhere warm enough to need to be concerned about air flow :D

    IMO I like the Giro.

Not used these people but the Giro is only £45.97.

Myspokes is part of Fudge cycles. If you go into their shop in Chiswick you will probably be able to try it on and they will probably price match. Its about 6 miles from St James's Park.

I went for the Giro Atmos 'cos it has great airflow and Portugal is EFFING hot, works a treat.

Bit more expensive but if heat is a problem, it's worth it, really good price at Planet X:
