Hi folks
Going to view new bikes shortly and they offer a part ex scheme. Can anyone give me an idea of value for this
http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/20 ... ve/pilot12
I understand a dealer will probably be lower than selling private, but if it's not too much it would be the easier option for me.
It's in VGC and has done less than 1000 miles(if the previous owner was telling the truth :D judging by condition I'd say he was)

Cheers

    well what do you expect linking to a makers site?

    so you want an idea of what something is worth with out even showing it?

    so i am presuming the worst and it has never been serviced and been kept out in the rain and every part that can wear out is worn out and needs replacing.

    you get my point?

    TBH the best you can do it think of a figure and hope. Or as above see what they have sold for else where.

    Yep your right dealers do tend to offer quite a bit below the price you might get selling it via flea bay or similar.

    Can tell from you link what year its is (though didn't look to much to be honest)

    But did find;
    * 2009 currently at £390 with a few hours to go - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/54cm-Trek-1-2 ... 500wt_1219

    * Unspec aged at £200 with 2 days to go - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trek-1-2-road ... 500wt_1219

    Guess that should give you and idea where you would want to be, just depends on what condition yours in in as your link only has the Trek website for ref no a pic your bike
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    I got a brand new 2010(last time made) Trek Pilot 2.1 for £650 in Feb if that is any help. Nice bike BTW.
