Wonder if Sky bunged Astana in order to reduce the # of points J-Rod could collect

I doubt it, more likely that Astana just desperate to rescue their Giro. Can't see Kreuziger staying away.

Basso having a leak. That's a good sign. Like when you watch horse racing... if a horse has a dump, back it!

So can Casar win this? He always snatches a tour stage... or is Pirazzi gonna get the stage he probably deserves? OR are they gonna get caught...

It is, but the finish isn't at the top.

Yes, they've already been over the finish once and were still climbing for 3 km after the line.
  • Pirazzi & Casar under the 5kms to go banner...

That graphic appears to show the climb at 3kms in length

The hardest bit is before the finish though. It's a tough climb in the heat.

This is not looking good for Cav's jersey hopes.

Only do the whole climb on the first "circuit" so to speak. If Pozzo is going to do something today he better do it soon, he's running out of road.

Attacking with a few km out is not going to net the seconds needed against Ryder............eggs in one basket for tomorrow?!

It's about 6 or 7 from the village and a pretty consistent gradient.

J Rod to attack in last KM, catch the break, win the stage and gain a handful of seconds?

    Maybe not....Scarponi goes.

    Stage is a major fail.

Contador would have attacked and lit them up a few km ago. Champions ride to win on the offensive.
