Hi,
I currently own a giant revel 3 disc model and have a £1000 put to one side and cant decide if it will be better to upgrade my existing bike or to spend the grand on a new one.
I use the bike at the moment around town, canals and delamere forest but I am looking to travel around the country in the summer with a few friends on some heavier trails.
Below are the bikes I have been looking at.

Any advice would be great whether it be on any of the above or something else I may have over looked.
Thanks

The Saracen is designed for harder riding, and is tougher than the others - but heavier. The Boardman is the lightest with the best spec, and should suit you well - I'd try one for size.
Is not worth upgrading the Revel really, would need a total overhaul, and you'd still be left with an inferior frame to any of these.0
