BB mount chain device fitting issues

Trying to fit a shaman racing drake http://shamanracing.com/en/109&item=327, with the BB adaptor plate.
Frame is carbon 456, SLX BB & cranks.
The crank is catching on the screw heads (that mount the device to the BB mounting plate).
I've fitted no spacers as stated in the instructions, due to using a BB mounting plate.
I'm assuming if I added a spacer between the BB shell and mounting plate in an attempt to make the crank clear the screws, its gona bugger things up, probably with the axle not then going sufficiently through the BB ??
Also guess that i'll have the same issue with any chain device which bolts onto a BB adaptor, as they are pretty much all the same.
Am I going to have to get a chain device which is only BB mount, ie no adaptor plate needed?

Had another look at it (now i've realxed a little
) and I reckon with a slight skimming of the screw heads, it'll be fine.
Now, just to work out how to get my crown race fitted...0 -

Fettling didn't work, even skimmed the chain device face a little to give more room, still catches.
Seems as though you'd be lucky to fit any chain device using a bb adaptor plate, shall have to find a dedicated BB mount device.0 -

T'is all done pal, just had to leave the chain guide off as it don't fit. Need to find a good dedicated BB mount one now, hopefully sub £100 ..0
