Small potatoes compared to this story:
"When I think about the whole situation, it's almost criminal how the UCI has handled the Contador case," Kroon told De Telegraaf.

"Listen, a month after his positive control in the Tour of 2010, Alberto was personally called by UCI President Pat McQuaid, who told him he wanted to keep that quiet. But then it was leaked by the German television.” Eventually Contador was cleared of the charges by the Spanish cycling federation, but “what does the UCI, who initially wanted to keep the whole incident quiet, do, but appeal.”

I think you will find that the UCI is run by a bunch of self serving ignorant corrupt assholes. Only my humble opinion mind.

What with their recent presentation effectively telling bike companies that they now regulate the future of the bicycle, and the lack of transparency in the dopestrong donation and it's full where-abouts and Fat Pats ability to not codone or ban long time drug users. We now have an organisation that is unfit to govern it's sport.

The IOC and Swiss authorities are either blind or stupid letting this bunch of idiots carry on.

Time for a change don't you think? Worth writing to British Cycling asking why my membership should fund the UCI when it is proven to be incompetent.
