I've been using a LOCT saddle http://www.loct.co.uk/product.html on my Stumpy for the last couple of years ... Started taking the little fella to Cannock when he was Two and a half yrs and still using it now he's Four and still loves the buzz of riding the trails :)

There are very sort after and only available second hand as Charles has stopped trading ...

If you are lucky enough to drop on one they fetch good money around £100 but are bomb proof and resell for the same even after using them for a few years ...
  • Thank you fro reply
  • WeeRide is the same thing pertty much, and Costco are doing the delux verion for about £80 at the moment (£100 even on Ebay). My 2 year old loves it.

My biggest fear is that should I crash, burn and die, my Wife would sell my stuff based upon what I told her I paid for it.

Nothing like the LOCT :) Just a Cheap alterative for very gentle offroad riding if fitted to a full susser .
A child in a Weeride takes every hit up though the spine as they are strapped in the seated position unlike the LOCT you can teach the child to stand up in the stirrups and soak up the rough stuff through his legs ...
Also the Wee ride has a 18kg limit so most toddlers will have out grown it before they hit 4yrs ..

The LOCT is so much more than a child seat you just need to get the whole concept of its design .
