Pozzato is 50-1 to win today. If u don't understand betting, means if u bet €100, u will lose €100

The Rainbow Stripes, arms aloft, crossing the line a bikelength in front of his nearest rival.
Oh yes, that would be very unsucky in my opinion.

That would be a sprint, therefore sucky.

It needs to split up on the hills, the action there in the last few years has been woeful.

Last year was good, surely? Otherwise, I fear you may be hoping for the impossible.

I'm looking forward to watching Cav's train crush all those pesky meddling attacks.

I would settle for it breaking up, getting some action then coming back together for a sprint. It's a shame Contador isn't riding, he'd have attacked on the Cipressa, dropped all the lightweights and solo'd to the finish.

That's ridiculous. Contador would attack on the Turchino and solo the remaining 140km

For non-polyglots Google translate is quite entertaining here:

After the Turchino and treacherous Le Manie are three unsightly Capi. Twenty kilometers from the finish makes the Cipressa sometimes excitement, but it is especially the last pimple that appeals to the imagination. The Poggio, the executioner of Milan-Sanremo, is the last chance for them to dare to include mice.

Juan José Oroz of the Euskaltel orange males are in flight by Oroz. The first three entries of the Basque to the Primavera were gray, but this year he decided to make some more color to indicate

I count 6 or 7 poggio or cipressa attacks that stuck it to the end..looks like 20 bunch gallops in 27 years I've followed San Remo so don't hold out a lot of hope Iainf.

I hope for a repeat of 1987..where Eric Maechler got in a break away group at Turchino that gained 11 minutes by Savona around 100km to go, still held 2 min 40 at the Capo Berta and 25 seconds at bottom of Poggio..wheen Maechler dispatched Peiper, Anderson to win by 6 seconds from bunch gallop for 2nd place won by Vanderarden. Fingers crossed the big teams miscalculate today! Milan San Remo badly needs change

I'm excited like a schoolboy...no idea why as I can pretty much guarantee we'll see 90 minutes of crashes and tempo riding then 5 minutes of excitement.

Already watched the 92 version and the 2011 version...anyone reccomend any other years, most of the other ones I remember were sprints.

Nah, to win this he'd have to attack with more than 1K to go

Everytime I see Cancellara at 13mins I am speechless with the power - making him sway it is so bloody fast.

Yeah, one reason why. The Poggio is his type of hill and he can descend very well.

yes, cheers Inkyfingers,..at 3mins 40 seconds you can see Kelly tempo/blocking on the front of the chase group.. agreement Fignon explained in his autobiography..Fignon's end of the deal was if it was bunch finished he'd lead out Kelly.

‎150km Joop Zoetemelk classic done! First 150km for me and if I say so myself, not done, but raced within our little group. Even over the km of cobblestones in the last 5 k. Worryingly I ve not so much reached, but smashed my target that I'd set myself before buying a new bike. Does anyone have a spare couple of grand I could have?

Now, as long as Cavendish does'nt let someone go on the Poggio/last climb of the day like I did, I ll be a happy boy!

Belgians in some other race all predicting Sagan..?
