How to set up after 12 27 to 11 28 cassette change

Looking to change to a 11 28 cassette , thought it would be straight forward but rear derailer was touching the cassette
How to i start to set up properly for this change if at all possible.
I know how to tweak the tension for better shifting after cable stretch etc but where do i start here.
Any info would be great

    there is a screw on the rear of the mech that screws in against the drop out pushing the derailer out from the cassette. If you run shimano then their tech docs section on the shimano page take you through detailed setup.
