new forks, tick! now new headset question.

hi guys my new RS recons arrived today but i have this waiting http://www.hotlines-uk.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=30499 do i need to remove the headset cups to fit or do i take it to LBS to fit with a headset press, im just a little confused.

Lbs to press it in mate. Not worth knackering a new headset trying to bodge it in with a vice and a bit of wood. They can also check its the right headset.

Standard 1 1/8th for your bike Kes, you can bodge it in but better to get LBS or someone with the tools to do the job for you.

get them on and get up Gizzy saturday

bikes at the LBS now and for the pricely sum of £10.00 to fit headset, cutt excess steerer tube and to remove spacers in forks so i can have them at 120 mm

glad i didnt get the urge to bodge it, thanks guys.
