Hollowtech 2 Road BB on MTB ?

Can you fit 68mm Road BB on an MTB if you use the existing spacers from your old MTB BB ?
MTB =68/73mm(SLX) , road = 68mm (Ultegra).

I have Deore Crankset FC M590

    Yes BUT the threaded parts are shorter so you MAY have issues. Also I believe the cups are actually slightly thinner on a MTB set up.
