Reba+xt>Fox+xt+slx??? (thanks)

If it's like a poll I'll say Fox just for balance. Like the BBC.I don't do smileys.

But I'd really do with the Rebas. RS are less work, and work well.I don't do smileys.

Jajajajaa. Sorry i only want to hear reasons for both choices...0

I did, RS are easy to service, have longer service intervals, and IMO are better forks.
The XT/SLX would make little difference to me.I don't do smileys.

What versions of both forks?A much loved, Giant Trance X3 20100
-
Rock Shox Reba RL 100mm, Motion Control, PopLoc
Fox Evolution 32 Float RL, 100mm, Lockout0 -
Haven't ridden a Reba, but the my Fox performs great. As I said though, I can't compare it to the Reba..A much loved, Giant Trance X3 20100

I've got the 120mm Reba RL - its brilliant. Never ridden the Fox.
So basically it would seem that they're both really good forks. Personally I'd go Reba and XT - but that's because of the fork rather than the drivetrain - as Cooldad says I wouldn't notice the difference between XT/SLX.
Either will serve you well I'm sure.0 -
any chance of a link to those bikes at that price as the reba full xt kit sounds like the ltd sl and 985 euros sounds like a bargin0

I'm talking about cube ltd cc and cube ltd race
It's a bargain in a shop in my town0 -
Just make sure it's the 2012 model (LTD CC) for that price as they can be had for €1099 on most of the German online shops (which is still a bargain IMO)... if it's a 2011 model I've seen one for €899. There's also a bit of difference in the measurements (forgot the correct term) between the 11'and 12' models and the 2012 has the latest XT group (780 vs 770) and different brakes.0

Both bikes are the 2012 model0

Be best if you can post links, as the Cube line up is confusing to say the least!0

especially as the specs for Danmark may well be different to the UK versions."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The CC isn't even in the 2012 Danish Cube catalog so I'm going by the German specs (Cube.eu plus various German shops). Cubes are too expensive in Denmark anyway, typically almost €300 more than in Germany and thats the LTD range, So I'm looking south of the border for mine... if your comment was meant for me (but the German specs may be different from the UK too).0

And here's the link to the 2012 from the same dealer (the 2012 is also with free delivery)... I think Geometry is the word I was looking for earlier. If you compare the measurements shown at the bottom of the page for each model there are a few differences .

i think that the 2011 cc represents a massive bargain, around 800 pounds after shipping.
I am personally looking for a bike too and it is between this and a grand canyon al 6.0, but i have owned a cube before, so very hard to decide.0 -
Suntour XCR over either ;-)0
