Is it worth the £67 to buy the XT Ice Tec rotors to go with my new XT brakes? Have people that use them noticed any improvements?

You'll only see a benefit on longer downhills when you would get the brakes seriously hot, if like me most the riding is on the flatish (I do live in the Midlands!) you get no benefit at all.

I do run some steep and sometimes long DH trails. I have had brakes fade on me in the past.

In which case all the reviews suggest you'll see a benefit!

  • I've only run IceTek rotors with my new XT brakes and they are so powerfull and work well on the decents in the Peaks and just keep getting better and better compared to my old Hayes Strokers
