I have just received a knog frog rear light but it doesn't fit very snugly around the seatstay. So i can move this to the seatpost but now require something cheap and just as easily removable that i can fit to the seatstay for extra light.

Do you want the whole thing to come off like the Knog? I have an Electron Pico 7 on each seatstay but the mount remains when you clip the light off.

Thanks, was thinking completely off, but if the mount is small enough that could be an option. Will start looking at that type as well.

Decathlon do a knog like light that fits comfortably on my seat stay. Don't know if there's one near you but I think they do mail order now. It was about 7 quid I think
  • I use these

I have one rear around the seatstay and another tucked into the rear vent of my helmet.

No decathlon near me, but do have a work friend who passes that way, so that could be a good option. Will check location and find out how close that is to him.

The chainreaction one is a pair, so would be paying more for a front light that i don't really need.

You can fasten them almost anywhere including helmets

  • Love the look of the fibre flare, was thinking something like a glow stick would fit lovely taped to the seatstay. Obviously its already been made. Will have to see if they come down a bit in price though.

I have a Cateye Rapid 3 on my seatstay and its surviving winter so far. Have lined it with grease for good measure but the standard sealing looks pretty good.

Hi - whilst I have bought many things from CRC, I think I bought my light elsewhere. It might even have been ebay.
