Afternoon all,

Looking to buy a Pivot Mach 5.7 (alloy) and wondering what size frame to go for (M or L).

I'm 6ft with a 32" inside leg.

Relating my height to the official Pivot size guide, I fall at the top end of the medium frame and at the bottom end of the large.

Anyone on here have any experiences with the aforementioned bike?

Currently, I'm thinking of a M with a 100mm stem?

What do you lot think? I've heard that Pivots come up quite big?

Cheers

  • I take it your ordering online? Is there nowhere you can swing your leg over one?

I'm about the same size as you and I'm going for (carbon) a large with about an 80mm stem.

A 100mm stem? On a 6inch travel bike? Are you sure this is the right bike for you?

I needed a large in the end... However, I've gone for a Mondraker Foxy RR now (large). Picking it up on Monday!
