BMC Streetracer SR02 Mudguards

Can anybody help with fitting some mudguards to this bike. Today I purchased a BBB Roadprotector front fender, all looked well but the clearance between the wheel and the bracket just rubs it looks like the clearance is less than 5mm. I do not want to spend any more cash until i know its going to fit, can anybody confirm or use a set on there bike that dont rub etc. Any help or advice would be very grateful. Hey,
I own the SR02 and had the same issue - I had to settle on SKS Raceblades but only the rear.
