Hi,

I am just about to install some Jagwire Racer cables to my Sram force equipped bike. When you buy a cable it has a bulbous metal piece at both ends, one designed for Campy, the other Shimno/Sram. The bulbous ends are labelled C and JC on my cables.

I guess C = campy but can anyone confirm before I cut it off as I don't understand what JC signifies. The brake cables are labelled C and S, a bit more straight forward I think.

Thanks
Mike

Take the old cable out & compare with the new cable ends?

Tried that, the old cable and both the new ones look slightly different, probably doesn't help that the old cable was an aftermarket one.

I emailed jagwire but waiting to hear back. I was hoping someone might know so I can get on with sorting the bike out/pulling my hair out trying to thread it through the Sram levers.

afaik shimano/sram ends are slightly larger diameter than campag (on both brake and gear cables)

so you could just compare the two ends of the cable, the narrower should be the campag one
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
