    and i like the dyna tech, is it titanium?

    Given that Sora groupset is 2.5Kg+ all in and that the Alex Rims must be close to that figure, I think that the 8.6Kg appears optimistic on the Merida and that the scales may need checking!

    the dyna tech is titanium and I rounded the weight of the merida down so it's actually about 8.68kg

    That Dyna Tech is a very interesting set-up, must be a comfy ride.
