I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this however I'm thinking of doing a bike mechanics course. Although I know some of the basics I want to learn in a more structured fashion rather than trial and error. Some sort of qualification at the end would also be useful. Searching the web there seems to be City and Guilds offered by various organisations and something I think is called cyotech (?). I'm not sure which is best or if there are any specific providers who have a good reputation. Grateful for any thoughts and advice.

  • Cytech 1 is a good place to start for beginners. Cytech 2 will give you professional skills, but it is very expensive

Recommedn the course at The Bike Inn- www.bike-inn.co.uk. I did my C&G there several years ago. Far better course than Cytech in my opinion. :D
