Looking for a decent rear light, has to be WATERPROOF and not break the bank.

I've been using the NiteRider Cherry Bomb for over a year (ie full winter cycle) on a daily commute without any problems at all. Plenty bright and easy on the batteries too and not all that expensive!

I can only speakmof two month's use, but the Moon Shield 60 has been great. 3 levels of brightness and strobe/flash, rechargeable mini-USB and a rubber strap bracket. Was a gift, but appears to be £35-45. Prefer it to my mate's Exposure Flare which, once you added in charger and rechargeable cell, was quite a bit more expensive.

I've been using the BM3 for my commute for the last 18mths & it's been great, I assume the BM4 would be an even better buy.

I currently rock one of these

    Cateye LD610

    with one of these

    Smart Lunar R2
    smart-lunar-r2-rear-light-2-x-05-watt-led-IMG25384.jpg

Both brilliant lights, i use the Cateye on constant, and the smart on a non-constant strobe (it's sort of a random flashing of the lights, much more eye attracting than a steady blink)

Both work fine when wet, never had a problem at all.
  • +1 for the Smart Lunar R2 it's well bright - only £16.
