Swiss stop pads for Campag fitting Shimano

I foolishly bought some Swissstop green Race pads without thinking if they are compatible with my Shimano Tiagra brakes.

I've had a quick go at fitting them and they are very tight and have only managed to get it halfway into the brake shoe.

If I persevere, will it squeeze in, or is it incompatible and have to change it?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

No they won't fit - too wide
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Out of interest: Campy pad holders into Tiagra calipers? Or again, completely incompatible?

Unlikely, Campagnolo brake shoes use a larger diameter female threaded bush whereas Shimano use a narrower male threaded stud. Definitely try before you buy.

Yeah, I've accepted they won't fit and they're going back for a refund.

That'll teach me not to rush to grab an online bargain without reading the ad!

    Thanks for advice.
