I'm thinking of building wheels for my (sshhhhh!) CX bike on some Mavic TN317 rims.

The rims are 540g each, I'd probably do it on XT (6 bolt) hubs which have a combined weight of just over 500g (?) and wondered if someone/Supersonic had an idea of the spoke weights that would be added to that? Based on some rough speculation, the spokes would be about 290mm. (Obviously, I would figure it out properly before uilding the wheels, if I even do it. I just want a rough estimate on 'standard' DB spokes, so I can work out if they'd be any better than the stock wheels)

Happy for someone to suggest better (narrow, 17mm) 29" rims btw.
