Well it may be the DU bush or the mounting kit.

Talk or have a look on Mojos webby.

BETD and TF Tuned sell new top hats and bushes.
One of them also has a guide to the right sizes.

    Drop down boxes for sizes.
    On TF Tuned - a few down - 8X30

Because they are generic. Just need the size.

It is possible in theory, but a real PITA. I suggest that you get the betd strong bushes, since its a DH bike, they work really well, and also invest in a tool to fit/remove them.

You can do it by knocking it out with a suitable sized socket wrench head, on a piece of wood with a hole drilled through it. Then just whack another in with a rubber mallet.... not ideal, but ok. If the top hats came out easily, you might find its them, not the DU bush thats the issue....

  • ok, i'll try and see what the new top hats are like, then i will make a small bearing type press with bolt, socket and washers, i'll try to avoid the hammering for now, cheers for the help Ben

Yeah, look at both, some top hats wear quicker than the bush....
