Went out today for a ride with my mate, i devised a route and about 10 mile into the ride my mate said the road we were about to use was closed for road works but we could get through, so on we went, the said roadworks were about 3/4 the way down a hill and as we approached them we slowed a little, I then heard a bang and knew straight away i had punctured, yook ages to stop, i put a new tube in the front then got ready to go and then discovered that my back tyre was also down, and if that wasn't bad enough i realised my front tyre was split , so we were rescued by my mates wife in his van. I'm new to road biking and i learned a valuable lesson today, stay away from road
works

  • The bad news is "bad rides" take many different forms, and, don't neccessarily involve road works. :D
