How to show posts that have changed since your last visit

In the old forum, it used to show/highlight posts that had changed since my last visit. Now I have to mark everything as read when I visit.

How do I re-enable this?

    It shows you topics that are new and unread. Not really that different than before.

    Actually no. My settings that were default on the previous forum highlighted only new and changed topics. When I re-visited now, New and Unread are just one colour/highlight, which is not what I want. At the moment I am having to clear (mark everything as read) to make sure its easy for me to identify what has changed.

    All I am asking is how you change this setting. It is that way on all the other forums I visit.
