Beat me to it. I have a different URL though http://tiny.cc/11l4h0

Read that it was limited to 150 riders so highly likely filled by now.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Haah.
Very good.
Looking on twitter. Seems A LOT of people won.
My wafer like physique is unlikely to survive the rough and tumble of getting a position near Cavendish.
Shame.
Edit: Oh, and the only bike available is a single speed.
Hah twice.0 -
Just go any way! It's a public road, so it's hardly like they can stop you joining on the end...0

Looks like it's going to be on the cycle track at the Redbridge Cycle Centre which (i assume) is not a public venue.0 -

On the invite it says
This is a private invite so please do not share with friends!
I won't share with friends I'll just post it on a public forum. TW@T0 -

The invite says "This is a private invite so please do not share with friends as we have limited capacity. For security on the day you will need to bring a print out of this invite and photo ID"
In other words don't bother bringing you mates or passing on your invite as they won't get in.0 -
Yippee! I'm going!
Gazzaput - if people can't make it their places get reassigned...Nice weather bike: Fondriest TF2 (white/ black)
Training Bike: Giant Avail (white/ blue/ green)
Track bikes: Planet X Franko Bianco (white) and 7VRN (white/ black)
CX: Kinesis Pro6 (sick green)0 -
We should try and form a BR breakaway while on the ride ! :P
I'll be their with my Felt bike in Cycling Club Hackney colours.. come say hello!0 -
(dabs eyes with pristine linen handkerchief)
You will remember me to him, won't you?
(gentle ladylike sniff)
And you will all promise to return immediately to this place with every last detail of Mr Cavendish: his apparel, his words of wisdom, his physical supremacy?
(lower lip trembles)
Perhaps if you all each suggested, ever so politely, that his next ride would benefit from being held in Fort William, or even Inverness, he may...........he could.............he would.........
(collapses on to the hearthrug sobbing)0 -
( with a little more cheer)
So, Iain, I imagine you were the first to apply, and just can't wait for The Great Day.
Right now, you're probably standing in front of a full length mirror, trying on your full kit. Will you be going with the Sky look, or a retro Columbia one? Will your copy of "Boy Racer" fit into you rain jacket pocket for him to sign?0 -

a 150 man lead out eh? That's impressive, even for Cav!
Have fun everyone and no half wheeling the world champ!0 -

It's going to be like the last 10km in a Tour stage, only with no talent.
Expecting carnage.
Also, if the speed goes much above 35kph I'm out the back on my singlespeed...0 -

I was going to apply, but then I realised it's for people who ride bikes.
Also, I'm not sure how he'd react if I asked for the money back for his book. Or would be send me Dan F's wayFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

He may not ride a bike, but Iain cuts a strong figure in lycra.0 -
