Trailgator's u-bolt too small

The u-bolts supplied are about 10mm to short. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know where to get longer ones? Already tried Wickes, Homebase and a couple of locals.

  Have you tried contacting the importer?
  
  I know that with some kid's bikes, it's just too tight in there, and the way it attaches just won't fit.
