Ain't it great when you get some brilliant tunes in a row on an album? I know it's not infrequent but sometimes I'm struck by the quality of a little run of tracks. Here's a set which I only recently realised is such a great run at the end of the Tracy Chapman album. 10 minutes of beautiful tunes, no need to press a button on the ipod. Go.

Track 9 For My Lover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMSFig8VgXE

Track 10 If Not Now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9SpX64g84U

Track 11 For You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxi65iPLVx0

Hit me with your 3 tracks in a row.

There isn't a bad track on that album.

Anyway, Don't Stop and Elizabeth my Dear aren't great.

What you on about? Where did I mention an otherwise crap album!? I'm just asking for 3 great tunes in a row! It's not hard. It's just a question. Like I said, otherwise I would have just asked for a great album.

Yeh I have listened to Astral Weeks. I'd say Sweet Thing, Cyprus Avenue and The Way Young Lovers Do would be a pretty good 3 in a row.

    Now you try
  • Ok:

    1. Public Enemy - Fight the power
    2. Bob Dylan - All along the Watchtower
    3. Russ Conway - Side Saddle

    Ffs. Are you joking?

Three tracks. In a row. From the same album. Not from some mixtape you made for your first girlfriend.
