Broxbourne Wood

Hi all,

I have recently mover down to just outside Hertford from Scotland and have heard that there is some off road in the woods, if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very greatful! Even where to enter the wood would be a big help as I have never been anywhere near it before! lol.

    if you can find Brickendon, head south past the golf course. Theres an entrance down on the left about 0.5k from the village. That'll take you in and theres loads of different paths. The bottom of the valley has a good trail. Or just right before the entrance is a bridal way to wormley wood. Enter that , theres a path on the left by some trees that run down to the valley floor and there are trails out the back that loop round.
    Alternatively head south out of hertford heath on the roman road, eventually it goes to the woods, again at the very bottom by the river you can tab right towards brickendon.
