Shifters.

Hi I need some new shifters. CRC have XT at £67.99 a pair or i can buy SLX for £39.99 a pair. Which should i choose?

    Depends how much you care about weight, the XT will be lighter but wont have much, if any, extra performance increase. I'm more than Happy with my slx shifters, though I havent used the equivalent year's XT.

    For £20 a pod, I'd not hesitate to buy SLX, for almost £35 a side I'd have to think twice about XT.

    +1 There is nothing wrong with SLX shifters but if you want to save a few grams then go XT.
