I've realised my shimano am41's are overkill for commuting to work, although a great shoe it doesnt understand that british rain is hardly ever vertical so they do fill with water from the laces
so I bought some pearl izumi barrier mtb overshoes and the am41 have no chance fitting, i think i need some tiny spd combo tbh but i want to keep teh flats, best chance i've seen is some spesh spd's with rubber ready to cut for the clips anyone have better idea please?

take a look at five ten chase freerunning shoes. expensive, but they have a fairly slim profile to them, have a nice stiff sole, and have all the grip of other five ten shoes. My Nukeproof Mega
