Yep got it when it came out on BD. Last year IIRC.

Most surprisingly decent film I've seen recently was Captain America. Went in expecting it to be a bit pish and it turned out to be pretty good. Worth a watch.

    Very Surprised by JCVD.

I only watched because it was free on BT Vision and I was bored out of my skull and then found that it wasn't Jean Claud Van Dam's usual pish and was actually far better than expected.

I watched "Priest" the other day expecting it be utter pants, but it was really good.

Didnt like "Jonah Hex" - turned off after 10 mins

Also watched "X Men 1st Class" on Sat night. Was pretty good, and certainly better than the last X Men and Wolverine films. Excellent cameo from Wolverine in it.

I watched "The lovely Bones" a while ago, and had no idea what it was about beforehand. Turned out to be a great film.

Another fantastic watch is "The Pacific", sure it's a ten part series, but, wow...

I tried to read the book a little while back, starts off good with the details about the murder, but gets a bit ghay when they started to talk about the families feelings.

I might give in and watch the film just to finish the story!

Does this count as a "Bill Murray is in it pretending to be a zombie" or "Bruce Willis is a ghost"?

  • Just watched 'all the boys love Mandy lane' because the wife recorded ti a few weeks ago and at first I thought it was just going to be a typical teenage slasher flick but a couple of good twists towards the end surprised me. Not a great film and I wouldn't pay to watch it but it's OK and worth a watch if your bored.
