I currently have a Giro Xen but I'm not keen on the fit and how it's a bit like a mushroom on my head.
I'm thinking of an Urge Endur-o-Matic as a replacement.
Anyone using one?
Cheers

So the choice is looking like a mushroom or a gay jockey?

 Those urge enduro-matic helmets do look awful!
A bit like those people that wear piss-pots for XC. Does the job, looks a little daft though ;)

Yes he does... its just the exceptional riding makes up for it
  • Definitely need to try it on first as it comes with 2 sizes in pads and no other way to size the helmet to your head. It's one of those helmets that if it fits you it's awesome. If it doesn't it's crap.

I love mine, fits great with a combination of the pads used and is a lot cooler than you would expect for a helmet with so little air holes.

I've got one. It's an excellent helmet. Its been fine for the most hotest of summer days too. More details here.

  • I've got one and love it, great lid. Believe it or not but I've received a few comments about the helmet looking nice and what is it. I got it in the Green Flash colour which looks pretty sweet
  • Cheers for the input guys and the links to the reviews. My Xen is a Large and my head measures 58ish so I think I'll try the L/XL size. Will maybe shoot over to CRC tonight and try one.

Ahh, you're so lucky living close to an outlet like that.

The warehouse is about 20mins away and the new store is about 20mins too :)
  • Called in to the new CRC store tonight and bought one. Oddly the S/M fitted with the thin pads but the L/XL was perfect with the thick pads. IMHO looks much better than my Xen but has more head coverage too. Went for the black / white / red version, thought it made a change from matte black.
