I have a Crivit HRM and belt.
Might the belt be compatible with a Gamin 305 or 500 if I was to buy one?
If not whats the cheapest I can buy suitable for use with a Garmin?

You'd need an Ant compatible HRM for the 500. I have a Crivit HRM and my ANT Bryton GPS units don't pick it up. I presume the 305 is the same....

Is it ANT+ Compatible? If so it should work.

Im not quite sure where the instructions have gone. Googled around and cant seem to find the specification. Cheapest transmitter I can find is forty pounds.
    Anywhere I should look?

Wear teh Crivit HRM strap and have a go at pairing them up, I doubt it will work too gut as I've got a cheap HRM strap kicking around I'm thinking of the same.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
