Vee rubber?

what is it? is it any better or worse then "normal" rubber? i cant find what my front tyre is made from, its a halfords "no puncture tyre", but the rear is made from Vee rubber, from what i've found on google, it says its from thailand, and its a very hard compound, which i cant understand because even when my rear tyre is PuMpEd! to the max, the knobbles are really soft n squishy.
other info on the rear is "street skinz" and "night wing", its a sort of bluey camo/flame pattern.
