Just ordered this Schwalbe combo (for £48 - delivered to France) to try and solve this sketchiness issue I'm having with my current tyres on the dry & loose trails of the High Alps..

..hope they make a difference cos it's doing my confidence no good feeling like I'm gonna deck it on every fast corner :(

Replacing Specialized Pro Resolutions which are pants on the loose stuff.

Yeah - the snakeskins would've been cool but would also have made the total £90 - nearly twice as much. Might live to regret that decision - we'll see. Tbh - the side walls on the Spesh's are in pretty good nick after two months of abuse

  • Good luck with the Ralph's on the rear, the sidewall is as effective as paper. Just ripped two rear tyres up in same month. Chucked another NN on there now..seems to be holding up better (and a lot more grip (but a lot slower))
